  • • 24-72 hours for approval

Step-by-Step Verification Process

1

Start Registration

Go to your chosen operator's website and click "Register" or "Sign Up". Choose the Spanish (.es) version of the site if available.

Tip: Use our operator reviews to find sites with English-language support.

2

Enter Personal Details

Fill in your personal information exactly as it appears on your NIE/TIE:

  • Full name: Match your ID exactly (including accents)
  • NIE number: Format X-1234567-A (include dashes)
  • Date of birth: DD/MM/YYYY format
  • Address: Your Spanish residence address
3

Upload Documents

Take clear photos of your documents. Most operators accept:

✓ Accepted

  • • TIE card (both sides)
  • • NIE certificate + Passport
  • • EU ID card + NIE certificate

✗ Not Accepted

  • • Passport alone (no NIE)
  • • Driving license
  • • Expired documents

Photo tips: Use good lighting, avoid flash glare, ensure all text is readable, and include all four corners of the document.

4

Take a Selfie

Most operators require a selfie for facial verification. Some may ask you to:

  • Hold your ID next to your face
  • Record a short video moving your head
  • Use their mobile app for live verification
5

Verify Phone Number

Enter your Spanish mobile number (+34) and receive a verification SMS. Enter the code to confirm your number.

No Spanish number? Consider getting a prepaid SIM from Vodafone, Orange, or Movistar. They cost around €10-15 and can be purchased at any electronics store.

6

Set Deposit Limits

Spanish law requires you to set deposit limits before you can bet. The default limits are:

Daily

€600

Weekly

€1,500

You can request lower limits at any time for responsible gambling.

Common Verification Issues

"Document not readable"

Take a new photo with better lighting. Avoid shadows and glare. Make sure all text and the photo are clearly visible.

"NIE not found in database"

Double-check you entered the NIE correctly with dashes (X-1234567-A). If it's a new NIE, wait 24-48 hours for it to appear in the DGOJ system.

"Name mismatch"

Your name must match exactly across all documents. Contact customer support if you have middle names or special characters causing issues.

Verification taking too long

Most verifications complete within 24-72 hours. If it's been longer, contact customer support via live chat for an update.
